Fullerton College: A Pictorial History

The World War II hit particularly close to home when William Goodchild, the son of campus head caretaker Charlie Goodchild, was reported missing in action in January 1943 in the South Pacific. William had been active in FJC athletics and was attending San Diego Teachers’ College when he enlisted in the Air Service. He was officially declared dead at the close of the war.
