Fullerton College: A Pictorial History

In 1950/51, Roy Brown broke just about every junior college freestyle record, holding the national record in the 100 yard freestyle, 60 yard freestyle, 440 freestyle, and 1500 freestyle. Starting in 1947/48, the Hornet swimmers set national swimming records, and in March 1948 alone, FJC swimmers lowered seven national junior college swimming records in the four-man relay team, breaststroke, and freestyle.
